Cape Town is arguably the number one tourist destination in the world. With scenic views, diverse cultures and delicious food, there isn’t much more that you could ask for. But, how do said fancies tickle the local. Capetonians stereotypically operate according to the surf and what time their fav coffee shop opens- earning the city the nickname ‘Slaapstad’.

Rather than fight the stereotype, this blog serves to openly welcome it. In doing so some of the finest coffee shops, bars and and trendy hideaways will be explored. Too often is the world overly serious and this is just the case when it comes to food. This blog attempts to do away with that ridiculous notion through satire based rants and reviews. This About Page doesn’t encompass the years of dry humor acquired from watching Top Gear and Fawlty Towers, but rest assured the posts  won’t leave you disappointed.

Finally about the Author. Narcissism is in and anonymity has been overdone.  I am a twenty something South African man attempting to harness the power of the WordPress.
